Finding the Perfect Engagement Ring
| Chances are you've thought about it many times before. You planned out your proposal a hundred times. You've gone through what you are going to say hundreds of times making sure that it's something that she is going to remember for the rest of your life. You've come up with the best location possible for your proposal, somewhere that means a lot to the both of you. Not only that, but you've probably also scouted the location several times to make sure that you do your proposal at a time when the ambiance is just right. Of course, the proposal would be nothing without a ring. Having the right kind of engagement ring is one of the big key's to having the perfect proposal. Remember: it's something that your significant other is going to not just wear for months on end, but also show off to all of their friends, family member's, co-workers, and yes, random people walking down the street. No pressure. When it comes down to it, though, finding the right option from the thousands of engagement rings out there is not as hard as you may make it out to be. Sure, there is going to be pressure to find the perfect engagement ring for the proposal, but it's mostly pressure that you put on yourself. In a way, the trouble that the average person gets into when looking for the "perfect" engagement ring is akin to trying to find the right place to eat in an area that you've never been to before: while you may find a place you want to eat right away, you keep driving and driving to find someplace even better. While you would have been perfectly happy eating at the first place that you found, you've now spent unnecessary time trying to find a "mythical" perfect place to eat, adding even more stress to your day. Chances are you will know the perfect ring when you see it. Once you have found that perfect ring you can look for a little bit longer but don't go out there trying to look for some mythical ring that you'll never find. You have to trust that you will know it when you see it. You've been buying jewelry for your significant other for years by the time it comes to getting an engagement ring. Chances are that you already know what she wants and you'll know it when you see it. Just like you should stop when you find a great place to eat, you should also be okay going with a ring that you already find perfect. |
