It automatically sends SMS's with your position & makes calls to predefined telephones if you suffer an accident. This application (http://www.applications.handster.com/) uses the phones GPS receiver to detect if the vehicle you are in has had an accident. TripHelper (http://www.handster.com/pocket_gps_triphelper_autososdialer.html) has been programmed to ignore short stops, such as traffic lights, etc. It will only send a SMS if the stop is prolonged beyond the time you have set previously. Pocket GPS TripHelper displays a wealth of travel data on the screen, such as height, speed, recommended safe distance, brake distance, and time. You can see the information in meters, seconds, and even graphically depending on speed. It provides information regarding the speed limit, and alerts you if you go over the predefined speed. Pocket GPS Triphelper also has a car searching function. In case you ever lose our car, or it's stolen, you can send a SMS to the terminal, and receive information about it's current position, speed, and more. You can also set the TripHelper to automatically send you Trip information. Pocket GPS TripHelper has a routes recording feature, along with a useful graphic presentation. You can watch two graphics showing the current speed and altitude. It provides two options for phone dialing. There is a direct dialer button, with which you can call any of the 6 persons in your predefined list. A modern keyboard, with easy big buttons is also provided for typing the desired number.
