The Fall Of America Avoiding The Christian Life
| Hello, as much as I like, commenting and interjecting my two cents; I'll stick to history. You know they have a saying, history has a way of repeating itself. At present, America and our economy are in serious trouble. How can this be? When our government, for many years, has been making laws and procedures to protect and preserve all that it has accomplished. Since the English Civil War in 1642 between Parliament and King Charles the 1st "power and control" has always been the reason behind many wars. And no doubt, financing is the force that keeps war alive! The constant feuding between Parliament and King Charles the 1st, similar to the present-day feuding between Israel and Palestine caused the early Christians to flee persecution from England and set up a new life in America. And if it wasn't for the Indians, Squanto's and Samoset, the early settlers would have all perished. Many pilgrims settlers died of sickness, disease and starvation in their quest to establish the Christianlife in America. And from Plymouth Rock to the establishment of American government, prayer and fasting to the one and only true God was a continual way of life. History clearly identifies, in no special order, George Washington, John Adams, Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses S. Grant, as God-fearing President's. As America began to prosper, one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all! As America prospered while living the Christian life, our government was finally given the ultimate test from Satan. You see America hated the ways of a tyrant called Hitler who destroyed many Jews in the gas chambers of Nazi Germany from (1933-1945). Matter of fact, our American government declared war on Nazi Germany because of Hitler's atrocities. Yet more African Americans than ever before in the history of a free nation were killed, beaten, raped and deprived of basic rights than the entire Holocaust of Hitler. More Indians, Chinese and Asians were deprived of their basic rights and freedoms, right here in America! If you take a look at the 18th century war, meaning the Civil War between the blue coats and gray coats; before the Emancipation Proclamation was signed by Abraham Lincoln. This document signed by President Abraham Lincoln was supposed to free the slaves. But then who would manage the cotton and tobacco crops in the South? You see slavery was big business in southern America. You see America's Holocaust began in 1619 with the persecution of African-Americans on slave ships. Only God knows the horrors that took place on these slave ships. And the many lives lost because of slavery. Only God knows the horrors the Native Americans experienced while losing their land and culture to our American government. President Ulysses S. Grant pursued a stated "Peace Policy" as a possible solution to the Indian conflict. The policy included a reorganization of the Indian Service, with the goal of relocating various tribes from their ancestral homes to parcels of lands established specifically for their inhabitation. The policy called for the replacement of government officials by religious men, nominated by churches, to oversee the Indian agencies on reservations in order to teach Christianity to the native tribes. The 18 and 1900s were horrible periods for Indians and blacks. Yet because God is in all things and never forgets the mistreatment of any people or race of people. Because God is no respector or of persons. Proverbs 24:23 These also are sayings of the wise: to show partiality in judging is not good. Galatians 6:7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. In our schools,we use to say, (I pledge allegiance to the flag). On all of our money we write, (In God we trust). America celebrates Thanksgiving and Christmas in honor of God. It was the Quakers, Catholics and Puritans in early history who helped establish the principles of our founding fathers. Yet America has forgotten the poor and become greedy in government. All men must answer to a authority higher than himself! Our government can no longer afford to ignore history and most importantly, God, whom our former Presidents honored with vigor. Satan is deceiving America with a new age religion that has only a form of godliness but denies its true power. There is no doubt, the Christian life in America has lost is biblical foundation. Matthew 7:5, You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye. The sins of our government cannot go unpunished! Only true repentance, prayer and fasting, then honoring the word of God can America recover and become a strong nation once again! All we need is faith in God and the power of prayer to believe God when He says; if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and forgive their sin and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14. America doesn't have to fall, it can begin living the Christian life! One nation under God indivisible with liberty and justice for ALL! |
