| Even though portability is coveted by many computers users, desktops are still hot, hot, hot. No matter who you are, when buying a computer you should at least consider the benefits of a desktop. This may not be what you end up buying, but you should at least look into the pros and cons. The main benefit of a desktop, when compared to a laptop, is that it can "pack more punch." From speed to storage and much more, you may get better performance out of a desktop unit. Obviously, these are points to compare as you decide which computer is best for you. Moving on, desktops make the perfect choice for an office setting. No matter if you work from home or in an office, having a desktop computer will make your life much easier. What about the price? This is another benefit of considering a desktop over a laptop. These units are often times more affordable. If money is on your mind and you are trying to save as much as possible, you definitely want to consider a desktop. Don't let anybody tell you that desktops are dead. Sure, laptops and tablet computers are becoming more and more popular but this does not mean that you have to forget about desktops - this may still be the best choice for you. At the very least, consider the benefits and features of a desktop and move on from there. You may learn that this is the best option for you at the present time. |
