The most competitive battle
| Human kind has always had a competitive streak about it. It is simply natural to want to try to outdo each other. This can be seen in the sports that we play, in our academics, and even in the reality television shows that we watch. This competitive spirit even spilled out into a new arena in a recent friendly rivalry in Alabama. The situation was that two neighbors wanted to get the best possible broadband plan that they could get. At first they did not notice that they each were trying to get broadband internet. Once the topic came up in a casual conversation between the two men they immediately felt that they had to outdo each other. The first neighbor Robert who was probably know as the more competitive of the two started out by doing some comparative shopping online between different wireless broadband companies. He was able to screen through many of the different broadband providers instantly on his computer. Meanwhile his neighbor Tom was more interested in looking for the best deals within one company. Both of these approaches can be used successfully and in fact where successful in this case. Before long the two men were searching for better and better deals on as much broadband as they could handle. Despite the fact that the two of them did not use their computers nearly as much as the average person. The two of them quickly had the most lightning fast internet connection on their whole block. This is just another story of the competitive nature of the human race. These kind of stories will continue to unroll all over the country and indeed the world. You will continue to hear about them in the news, just like this story. |
